The Irish Paint Horse Club [IPHC] was founded in 2004 and gained its affiliation to the APHA on March10th 2005. From then the IPHC has grown in membership.

Any one can join the Irish Paint Horse Club. You don’t have to have a Paint Horse. If you want to Ride Western or even just want to see what takes place at a Rodeo and have some fun with a great group of people [From all Over Ireland] well then, come along and join in!

There are many disciplines’ of Western Riding, [Trail Riding] for people that just want to saddle up and get away from the hustle and stress of life even if its for only an hour or so. It’s brilliant - take it from the horse’s mouth so to speak!!

There are also Halter Class’s, Trail Class’s, Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, Reining, Working Cow Horse, and Team Penning. On occasions we run Endurance Races.
At the moment we are setting up our events/competitions to run as a league and to have top Horse and Rider year end awards as well as the prize money and awards at each individual event. To find out more contact us or to read more about the organisation visit about us.
